She's Here!!!
We got to pick up Opie Saturday morning... seriously... she is a dream dog! LOVE HER!!! She is so cute with Lucy, and we have done lots of playing, a bath, treats and even eating. So far she hasn't tried to take any food from people (even getting her to take a treat from us is work... so that is kinda good - she doesn't try to take food from Lucy, or even off our coffee table!!) She rides great in the car, is super loving, adorable, protective of Lucy, and our home... just all around awesome!! She loves to give hugs, fetch, lean, play with Lucy... so cute!! LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!

That is one big dog, but super cute! That's great that she is so good with Lucy.
I love that you named your dog Opie. My cousins had Great Danes for years. The funniest thing about them is that they truly believe they are lap dogs. It is so funny to watch them try to snuggle up to you regardless of their size.
Congratulations on Opie!!! What an exciting addition to your awesome family! I am so thrilled for you.
