birthday dinner... in Denver

So... every year for like the last 10 years my parents have been out of town on my birthday... it is something that I like to rib them about! But they always take us out to dinner for my birthday when they get back. This year we decided to go to a place in north Denver called Cinzzetti's ... yes... we drove all the way to Denver for dinner... because it is just that good. If you ever get a chance to go (there is only the one in Denver and then one in Kansas) you need to take the opportunity!! Seriously! It is an all you can eat Italian restaurant... you can't call it a buffet because it is too nice for that lowly classification! They have the best pasta dishes I've ever tasted, as well as traditional Italian main dishes, salads, fresh made to order Crepes, homemade ice cream and about a trillion desserts (that's my mom's favorite spot!) The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is always very friendly, and the food is just to die for! Loved it! The drive up and back is also a favorite for me... it is just a chance to spend time talking where no one can get up and have something else to do! Anyway... thanks Mom and Dad for taking us up there and for making it a fun and special time!

In the pictures, there are some of us before we were seated... and then while we were eating we were just too busy to bother with the camera... but as we were eating the dessert we had to get it out... Lucy... smart little one that she is... picked the prime location... right between my parents... she would cuddle up to whichever one had the most yummy looking thing on the spoon or fork... and kept going back and forth. It was pretty cute!
