Cousins for a visit

My brother's kids, Gavin 10, Carson 7 and Cambria 5 got the chance to fly down from Washington to spend some time with us while their Mom, Erin, went to Girls Camp and Clint worked.  It had been a year and a half since Lucy and I had seen them, and 2 years since Jason had seen them, so to say that we were excited would be an understatement!!  They got here safely and we have been having a blast hanging out with them and being able to watch Lucy play with them!  They are the cutest little kids!  Lucy and I took them to the Zoo last Tuesday - it was crazy hot, but a ton of fun!  I got a few pictures from that, not too many, but then I brought them back here and they had dinner with us, then the kids all wanted to swim... it was crazy hot during the day, but we have been having afternoon/evening storms around here that really cool things off, and the pool isn't heated, so the poor kids turned in to Popsicles!  They had a great time though and didn't realize they were cold until we got out.  Then they wanted to sit in front of the fire place to warm up - but our fireplace is just for looks until we can put a blower on it... so it didn't do them much good, but made for a cute picture!  I am so grateful to have a wonderful family that we are able to spend time with... laughing and making memories that we can cherish for a lifetime!

This is Emmett - one of our Grizzlies... we were lucky enough to watch them do some training... cool stuff!

This is the pool we put in our backyard for Lucy... it is a great size... big enough that we can get in, but shallow enough that Lucy can walk through the entire thing with her head above water!

Lucy wouldn't let me comb her hair, but thought it was great fun to have Cambria do it!
