3 already!

How does it happen that time goes by so much faster as we get older?  It seems like just yesterday I had this little girl still in my tummy, but today we celebrate her turning 3.  Lucy is such a great girl!  She is generally a happy person, she is always the one that tries to make things good with everyone... like at Nursery she is the one that tries to get the kids that are crying to laugh.  She is very active (TV is not a distration for her, and I am actually okay with that!) still loves the zoo, is getting an amazing imagination (she LOVES to have us tell her Princess Lucy stories - and remembers all the fun things that Princess Lucy, Queen Mommy and King Daddy do!)  And most importantly, we find new things to love about her every day.  She has a love for the gospel that amazes me - loving to read the scriptures and hear the stories.. then telling us the stories later with great detail - her enthusiasm for that learning is helping me get excited too!  She loves her family beyond words (when asked what she wanted for her birthday she said "Cake and Ice Cream and to sing 'Happy Birtday' with the cousins, Heavenly Father and Jesus!)  Lucy loves to sing and do anything with music - dance, making things up, playing the drums... and that is fun because it is just like her daddy!
