Funny Lucy-isms

Lucy is always saying and doing the funniest things... some of our more recent favorites....

Yesterday I hit my head and said "Holy Cow!" so then for the next 30 minutes she was walking around going "Holy Cow, Mom... Holy Cow!"

Yeah (substitute someone's name here) for example:  Yeah Opie!  Yeah Mommy!  Yeah Daddy!  and then she will go through everyone she can think of... but my personal favorites are  Yeah Cousins!!  and Yeah Lucy Palmer! (that's her little friend from church)

When she hears a truck or someone close a car door on the street - "Mommy, Uncle Joe Joe is here!!!" (Unfortunately he isn't there, but she gets so excited about it!  She has also done the same thing with Uncle Jerry and Uncle Clint!)

When daddy gets home from work - "Hi Daddy! Come-a sit down-a by us!" with a HUGE smile on her face and a pat on the couch with her hand!

There are a few words that she has never been able to say correctly... like Garbage... she has always said it gargabe (you have to say it like you are French to get the right affect) but there are a few that she used to know, but for some reason can't say right anymore... like Pony - she was saying "Cony" - so trying to help her say it right, I said... "Lucy.. can you say P P P Pony?"  so she goes "Yeah Mom, P P P Cony"  We had her friend Morgon here the other day and was calling her "Worgan"  So again trying to help her - "Lucy... say... M M M Morgan!" and then Lucy "M M M Worgan!"  She is so proud of herself when she does this though... that's what makes it so funny!  And the one that confuses me every time she says it - a napkin is now a pumpkin - too cute!

Lucy loves to talk on the phone and I always ask her who she is talking to... most of the time it is Bompa - she loves to talk to him any time!  Lately though she has been talking to other people - the other day she told Jason that it was Lucy Palmer... and last week when I was really sick, she said that she was talking to Jesus - she apparently has a direct line in with Him, so I asked her to tell him that we were ready for her brother and/or sister to come down, but not sure if she was able to let him know or not!
